FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

Currently, the classes for First Holy Communion are held at St. Mary’s School in Waterford on Sunday mornings from 9:15 am – 10:15 am.  This is part of a new program for the parishes of St. Augustine’s, in Troy and St. Mary’s, in Waterford.  The entire Faith Formation Program is now headed up by Debbie Webster.  Classes will begin September 15th, 2019 so please register now!

Sunday Mornings
9:15 am – 10:15 am

St. Mary’s School, Waterford

Students begin preparing for the sacrament of First Holy Communion after having attended one full year of formal religious instruction.  The usual grade for preparation of these sacraments is 2nd Grade.  There are two parent meetings and two retreats included in the preparation program.  The celebration of First Holy Communion is the first weekend in May and will be offered at St. Augustine’s Church for children of St. Augustine parishioners.
