Knights of Columbus and Columbiettes
“In service to One, in service to all,” the motto of the local Waterford Council K of C. This council is active in our parish on various reverent occasions. The Knights of Columbus is a lay Catholic fraternal service organization located locally in Waterford at 76 Grace Street. This council serves both St. Augustine’s Church as well St. Mary’s “over the bridge”. They are men and women of faith, action, and charity. The K of C undertakes these acts of charity because they see those in need through the eyes of faith that they live. The Knights of Columbus is open to all practicing Catholic men and women (Columbiettes), 18+ years of age, in communion with the Holy See, abides by the commandments of God and precepts and tenets of the Church. To support the local council a breakfast is held every first Sunday of the month at the Waterford K of C, 76 Grace Street, Waterford. Various dinners are also available during the year.

Project Linus is a service opportunity for parishioners and community members to donate handmade blankets and afghans to children who are traumatized, ill or otherwise in need. Children’s Liturgy of the Word
This ministry helps our little ones grow in love for Christ and the Mass through special activities during the 10:30am Sunday Mass. It is for children of all ages. Many parishioners volunteer their time during Mass to teach the young ones.

Devotional Ministries
Augustinian Seculars
The Seculars are lay Catholic men and women who determine to live a simple life seeking to follow the spirituality of Saint Augustine through personal prayer and conversion. They become closely associated with the Augustinian Province of St. Thomas of Villanova and they meet on the third Sunday of the month following the 10:30 a.m. in the lower church at Saint Augustine’s. Anyone who wishes to learn more is welcome to join us at the meeting or you may call Gerry Carlo at (518) 852-6234.
Perpetual Adoration
Eucharistic adoration takes place from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m, seven days a week. The adoration chapel of Our Lady of Perpetual Help now at St. Augustine’s originated at St. Paul the Apostle on September 8, 1983. Adorers are the “guardians of the Eucharist” and have regular, committed weekly hours. Visitors stop in at all times of day and night to be with Jesus…see more.
