Religious Education Classes for Grades 1 – 10 will begin on September 25th. Please get your children’s registrations in as soon as possible, for materials to be ordered.
For the Sacrament of Confirmation, a young person should be in program for two years, for the 9th and 10th grade. If a situation has prevented this at grade level please contact Mrs. Debbie Webster, the Director/Coordinator of this program.
Students preparing for Confirmation must be actively participating in religious education classes or Catholic school religion classes for at least one full year before beginning the Confirmation Preparation Program. The program starts in middle school and continues into 9th grade allowing for proper spiritual guidance before Confirmation year in 10th Grade. There are required expectations for the parents, sponsors and candidates or confirmands. Candidates make a retreat together ending with Confirmation during the Easter Season.
If a student is attending a Catholic High School for 9th and 10th Grade, they would register in our program in 10th grade, to begin instruction in January. Early registration is important.
**Important for Confirmation: Catholic High Schools DO NOT provide Confirmation Instruction. It is necessary to register with your parish Faith Formation/Religious Education Program. Registration Applications are being emailed to all families registered in the program in 2021 – 2022.
We welcome all new families and they may contact Mrs. Webster for an application to be sent, picked up, emailed or may access from parish websites.
